Invoking the Huntress – an Artistic Collaboration
Greetings, everyone! Recently, I had the pleasure of collaborating with two wonderful ladies on a great and inspirational project. These two ladies are great bloggers, writers, creators and beings and are known as Aquileana and Resa around the blogosphere. What was this project about? Resa makes gorgeous dresses, inspired by life, dreams, mythology and stories… Continue reading

Undressing of Autumn
The pearls hang low on heaven’s ceilings, those wombs of sweet nothings inert above the velvet nightmares; patterns of our hands teaching the river to words. They do not suspend for myself, they do not adorn a guttersnipe, myself who brawls against the simple lie of innocence; my father, the flotsam king, turns living rooms… Continue reading

The Want
*Image found HERE The Want In the distance, I see it, released from the crease of a rosy cloth gently lifted, unto the swarm of golden moths descending through the birches – red and dangling, my fingers like cracked mosaic shards, dismantling the lobster, unseaming petal by petal, draining the stems for my heart –… Continue reading

My Morena
*Image found HERE My Morena My morena, maker of malady menageries, meticulous mollusk, mist mannered marinating mirrors. Meandering meadows, mimicking Metatron milking marigold mornings. Murmuring mills, my melancholic mongrel, mending minstrels – moaning marrow. My measly minnow – mapled, married manufacturer, maker, mild master, marshal. Moon man made manifest – madman mourned. Macadam maroon, misunderstood,… Continue reading

I listen to you mumble Delirious nonsense through the night, waiting to become your river. I’d follow you to Hell,… Continue reading

Moon Girl
*Image found HERE Moon Girl Such is the day: A dominion of tendrils That prod the mush Of was and never will be, A road paved of Crumbs and mucus In the underbelly Of the hollowed out avocado, My skin – Not enough emerald, Not enough viscera, Merely a swarm Of unspoken desires Melting between… Continue reading

Three of Hearts
*Image found HERE Three of Hearts The Moon he sailed through the night-sky clouds And bestowed upon his eyes Was a beautiful silver star, His soul was weaved with sudden love; His heart with a surprise. He sang, he sang the song of night To his little star, She doth said:” What stranger… Continue reading
About Me
I don’t mind the sun sometimes,
the images it shows,
I can taste you on my lips
and feel you in my clothes.
Cinnamon and sugary
and softly spoken lies,
you never know just how you look
through other people’s eyes
