A Pocket Full of Poesies – A Review
“A Pocket Full of Poesies” is a poetry book by a writer and dear friend, T. J. Therien, and I had the honor of receiving a promotional copy of it, with a delightful message inside. This poetry book is very gentle and accessible. It is a book of love poems, but for me, it is… Continue reading

Lady Raven
Mixed media / September 2016 A vert grungy piece, the grain makes me feel some old, eerie movie vibe. Tell me what you think! Continue reading

Her name was Vatra
*Image found HERE Her name was Vatra She was burning; like tobacco in a modern art museum, as a dragonfly strips its wings screaming beneath a wolf-head totem, her pulse against the cold door of a corner dollar store. She was burning like rain could know no other arch nemesis, burning like a fever of… Continue reading

The Forever Season
Mixed media / August 2016 The title was inspired by the lyrics of one of Acid Bath’s songs, going:”Winter is the forever season….” This piece, visibly, follows my fascination with the color and concept duality of red and blue. Continue reading

They do not suspend for myself, they do not adorn a guttersnipe, myself who brawls against the simple lie of innocence; my father, the flotsam king, turns living rooms… Continue reading

Anything
“Anything” Mixed media/ August 2016. For a while, I wanted to explore and combine my loves for double exposure photography and collage, and this was the result. As for its title, I have my husband to thank for it. He told me “Go make something!”, I asked “What should I make?” and he replied with… Continue reading

A Tale of Apples
*Image found HERE A Tale of Apples I You know the truth, sugar; the spring of me is nothing but bleeding skies, syrup over wounded layovers. II To put it simply it is a thin circle with a red wildheart in. III Your father is sleeping, Eve, you and me. Date. Now. Under the… Continue reading
About Me
I don’t mind the sun sometimes,
the images it shows,
I can taste you on my lips
and feel you in my clothes.
Cinnamon and sugary
and softly spoken lies,
you never know just how you look
through other people’s eyes
