Absence (of a Bright Side)

As many of you have noticed, I have been absent for a while now. The reason for this is that my internet is absolutely horrible for the past 2 months. When nothing will load or just goes boom in the middle of you writing something or checking something, it really destroys all the fun. I have no idea if this will be fixed anytime soon, but I do smell a “buy our new package or rot” offer reaching my ears soon. Its the typical upsell plan these companies use.

Besides the internet issue, I have also been on vacation, and have some other stuff to deal with in real life. They are not dire and sinister, but are heavily burdening my time.

So, there you have it folks, the reason I have not been posting anything new lately, and most of all, what hurts me the most, the reason I have not been so active in reading your writing.

Tell me: what is new with you, what are you working on, how are your projects going? Please feel free to direct me towards your new posts or old ones, so I can read them and comment on them, don’t be shy!

Hope everyone is well and did not completely forget me!I’ll try to get back into the groove as soon as possible and shower you in some new poetry!

Well, since you’ve been away I got my first poetry book (Reverberating Pang) published and distributing the free copies this September.. that’s sorta one new thing with me. and yeah.. working on another as at same time. 🙂

      3. Great! Let me know your feedback and improvement ideas. 🙂

      4. I downladed the book, but I am afraid I cant read it yet 😦 I hav eno idea how the epub thingy works. As far as I know, those programs mostly operate on cellphones and tablets, out of which I posses none. I tried setting up a Kindle on the PC, but for some reason it didnt work.
Is there a PDF version I can download somewhere?

      5. Oh, if you download ‘Adobe digital editions’ you’ll be able to read epub files on your PC as well. Lulu provides a link to download it on the page from where you download an ebook. However if you want I can email you the PDF copy I have, just let me know your email address.

      6. Id love it if you sent it to me, if it is not too much of a hassle. here is the email:
        isiltharien@hotmail.com

      7. Not a problem it’s handy. =) Check your email, let me know if you’ve received it.

      8. Recieved it! And this way I have your email,so I can write to you when I read it all tonight 🙂

  4. Hey girl! I can imagine it can be frustrating to deal with internet like that, but maybe its a blessing in disguise? We all need a breather from socialising, especially if there is stuff going on in our lives at the same time too. Stay well, we are here, waiting for your return.

    1. I dont think I need a breather, I think my problem is that I am deprived, but that’s a sad story for another day 😀
I am glad to see you are doing well, and cant wait to get back in touch with your writing!

  5. zaboravili… nikada! 😀 “Sta sam sinoc propustio? Nista… Jooooooooj, jebem ti sljaku” 😛

  6. I was just wondering over the weekend if you were going to come back. Sorry to hear about the Internet issues. Been there, done that, still have the hole-riddled Internet bill as a memento. 😉

Not even sure where to start with me. 5th book (The Compass Key) came out last month and it’s limping along. I’m working on editing all of my books so that my editor has an easier time. Basically, I’ve learned new tricks and now have help, so I’m going back to the beginning. Halfway done since I’m including the 3 unpublished volumes in this run. That’s really it beyond the son starting Kindergarten. Hope you get a lot of writing time in now that you’re back.

    1. Charles, one of these days I am so going to start an internet thing where me and other people build you a monument of some sorts or perhaps a shrine to worship you, cause seriously, most of the times the way you are and how you press on seems godllike to me!You are an inspiration, really! 😀

      1. At this rate you might want to make that a memorial. 😉

  7. Was wondering where you had been. Don’t worry you won’t be forgotten. I’m not writing much, too many dramas in my life to concentrate blah 😦 take care hun and come back when you can. x

    1. I hope things get better for you, I think about you very often! Take care, as well!

  8. Yeah, been fairly luck with my internet connection, but I know how frustrating things can ben when its not going right. Glad to see you are back and look forward to your new posts 😀

  9. greetings, dear heart, I hope all is well with you, you have my sympathy for your computer/internet issues, I know these only too well! sending hugs, best wishes from baldy x

    1. I remember you were having troubles with internet and PC, too! Lots of hugs, stay well and keep writing those poems that bring a smile to my face!

  10. Well life does often interfere with blogging, even though blogging often reflects the life that is interfering with it. But glad to hear you will be returning soon and that the life that has been keeping you busy was not beset with negative experiences. Looking forward to reading your posts once again.

    1. Very true! Thank you for your words and I hope I can start the poetry shower soon! Take care or, if my husband taught me any good: kendini iyi bak

    1. Thanks, Jeff! 😀 Looking forward to reading your stuff again!

    1. Everywhere but nowhere… I hope you and your family are ok! 🙂

About Me

I don’t mind the sun sometimes,
the images it shows,
I can taste you on my lips
and feel you in my clothes.
Cinnamon and sugary
and softly spoken lies,
you never know just how you look
through other people’s eyes
