Fairy portal

Image

Enter the forest, get to know the Fae, and who knows, you might remember what you learned when you are back.

Or in other words, this is my way of saying hi to all. I have been very short on time with a lot of things to do lately, but I will be back to daily reading my followers (hopefully) soon!

I’d love to hear your impressions on the photo!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

  1. Welcome back Oloriel! It’s an amazing photo – what is the story behind it?

    • The blossom of this tree looks almost velvetten, it was like rustling of sheets or papers that summoned me to the window. I looked down and saw it swat its blossoms in such a crazy way, that I thought “There must be fairies at play!”. When working on the photo, as soon as I opened it, I wanted to create this, so I suspect my mind was also not my own at that point πŸ™‚
Hope you are doing well and enjoying the season!

  2. It is entrancing, just like the coiled branches and leaves of a dense forest.
    Lovely! πŸ™‚

  3. Stunning photo Oloriel, I was fascinated by it at first glance, the colours i love.

  4. It is almost like a psychological pattern.

  5. Your picture makes me think ‘gothic psychology test.’
It also kinda follows you around the room, heh.
    A strange kaleidoscope of reactions…

    Darren.

    • I would love to know if any others out there do actually see the fairies in there like I do!
Appologies up front if they steal/missplace something of yours, do leave them some honey somewhere so they stop being misschevious πŸ™‚

      • Heh, I need very little to start seeing fairies πŸ™‚

Something else your pic reminded me of was Max Ernst’s grattage work. Like a weird microscope looking at a world underneath.

  6. Love the photo and the inviting words. They combine to remind me of one of my favorite songs from The Moody Blues… “the trees are drawing me near…”

  7. Loved your kaleidascope photo Olorial!

  8. Love the photo. Very cool!

  9. It’s a green snowflake! It must be Irish! “lol” πŸ™‚

  10. oh they must have been rehearsing for the ballet πŸ˜‰
