Weekly Photo Challenge – Street Life
*Taken at Zeleni Venac, Belgrade. In translation, the name of the place means Green Wreath. It got its name because of the bazaar that is located here. It is the opening cells of the core of the city, where many wait for each other, meet, depart, wait for and leave buses. There is a cornucopia of… Continue reading

The Cruel Evanesce (Tanka)
*Image found HERE The Cruel Evanesce Your old pendulum – a cherry scented throat rusts ‘tween then and now. If you release or you hold – naugh’ in palms but spectreous wind. *For Haiku/Tanka challenge The two are not among my favourite writing forms, but since I already gave Haiku a try once on behest… Continue reading

Hibiscus tea
Hibiscus tea “I’m just not sure you know, what to do.” Me and my sister were standing and talking next to the window. I have just made tea and we were waiting for it to cool down, so we don’t burn our mouths like we usually do, when our chattering gets heated. She just ended… Continue reading

The 24th Year
A Young Poet In His 24th Year Brain, work now as well as you can. A one-sided passion is destroying him. He’s in a maddening situation. About Me
I don’t mind the sun sometimes,
the images it shows,
I can taste you on my lips
and feel you in my clothes.
Cinnamon and sugary
and softly spoken lies,
you never know just how you look
through other people’s eyes
