No, this is obviously not a picture of tea! But this is another post where I would like to showcase what I am busy doing here on WordPress all day. If my son starts reading while not being even 2 years old, you guys will be to blame!
The picture that you see on top had its creation fully inspired by Bastet and her weekly photo prompt/challenge called Pixelventures. You can find the latest prompt here. Wether you are a photographer, a snapshoter,or whichever attribute you give to yourself and your camera – check it out and take some photos! My photo is for the previous prompt, I know, fashionably late is an understatement for me nowadays.
I love sonnets. I really do. I think they represent the beauty of a form in all it’s glory. Yet I have found that trying to learn them alone did not yield me satisfying result. Consulting online guides did not help me much either, they often feel generic and confuse me. Tim Therien writes awesome sonnets and is hosting a workshop at The 13th Floor Paradigm and if you are interested in sonnets and learning to write them with a real, live person you should defenately give it a look and grab your pen HERE!
Can you say “wonderful writing”? I can and there is a blog that had me saying this and will keep doing so for days on end. The poetry, stories and chapters that I keep finding on this blog remind me of a rainy day, full of dancing in the street, love under a pink umbrella, Earl Grey while being cozy in the living room, a black and white movie that will make you cry in a special way you will never forget. Give a read to Elia Bintang and feel it for yourself!
28th August passed and applications for my Mythology Workshop are now officialy closed yet I am allready reading such fabulous entries. I wanted this person to enter. Ever since I first read an entry on her blog, I felt an ink love, a writers love. Her writing is amazing, it is raw, it is succulent, it is alive – the use of language is wonderfull and the way that she is bare and honest with her everything. She is a wonderfull person as well, one of those for which I curse Fate for not making us be door to door neighbours, class mates or sisters, one of those people that you get to love and cherish even if you have never met them in person. She is mindlovemisery and I am sure you will not regret reading her work and I am sure you will love her as much as me.
Hope you enjoyed the links! If you know of any interesting blogs that I have not yet discovered or you would like me to check out something, the comment section is all yours! ‘Till the next tea, and may coffeine serve you well! 😀
